Our original Legionella test. Ideal where a relatively insensitive test is required. The simplest of all our products - just collect the sample and place it on the device. Just 25 minutes later you will have a clear indication if the most virulent Legionella species are detected.
Using the well established principles of membrane filtration, this test enables the detection at much lower levels that the standard test. Ideally suited to use with hot and cold water systems.
Given that Legionella grow in biofilm rather than water it is only natural that people would want to detect the bacterium in its natural habitat rather than waiting until it has reached detectable levels in water. Whether to pinpoint an area of concern or confirm the cleanliness of a system the hydrosense Legionella Biofilm Test is able to add to your overall understanding of the microbial control in your water system.
Cooling water often contains high levels of suspended solids, which can make membrane filtration very slow or even impossible. Using our Hollow Fibre Filtration modules, the Industrial Legionella Test overcomes this problem to enable on site testing of Legionella in almost any sample, with no other specialist equipment.
